Human Trafficking is modern day slavery. It is the second largest criminal industry in the world and is the fastest growing!

TOPIC:

Human Trafficking is a form of modern-day slavery and is a crime against humanity. A multi-billion-dollar criminal industry that denies freedom to millions of people around the world.

No matter where you live or work, chances are it is happening nearby. From under-aged girls forced into prostitution at a truck stop… to the man discovered washing dishes in a restaurant kitchen, stripped of his passport, and held against his will… To undocumented workers forced to clean guest rooms at a resort hotel. All trafficking victims share one essential experience: the loss of freedom.

Approximately 40,000 people are forced into slavery in America each year. Many victims are young American Children forced into domestic minor sex trafficking. Pimps and predators are constantly prowling the streets, shopping malls, concerts, schools, and social media looking for unsuspecting victims, who are typically easy to spot. Human Trafficking is the second largest criminal industry in the world after drug trafficking and is the fastest growing.

Victims of human trafficking may suffer from physical and psychological problems because they are often forced or coerced into dangerous conditions. There is a difference between human trafficking and smuggling. Education is the key when it comes to recognizing, identifying, investigating, responding, and assisting with the prosecution of human trafficking cases.

The instructor brings his first-hand experience and knowledge of working with sixty-eight international and national human trafficking victims of all ages over a five-year period. From investigations to rescuing and interviewing victims and assisting with the prosecution of Human Traffickers.
