Effectively Managing Problem Employees

Course Description

Today law enforcement agencies are facing greater challenges and scrutiny than ever before. There can be no tolerance of low and poor performing staff. Problem employees steal energy, time and focus from you, your team and the people you serve! If you are spending a great amount of your time, energy and frustration on your least productive and most trouble causing employees, then you don’t want to miss this workshop.

Please note: This is a live, two-session online Zoom program with interactive workshops that will require participants to turn on their camera for the duration of the course. Between the two sessions, which are two hours each, participants will be asked to do “homework” designed to increase your effectiveness in dealing with problem employees. The homework completed will be discussed in the second session.

Registration for this course is limited to 50 participants and is on a first-come-first-serve basis.

You will learn what games that are actually being played and why problem employees are motivated to play these games. You will also learn how to turn many of the negatives into positives for your team.

How to improve accountability at the organizational and supervisory levels of your agency.
How to strengthen your team in spite of the influences of problem employees.
How to interpret body language and other key communication concepts.
How to regain your serenity in the middle of the problem child’s game.
Effective and practical methods for addressing problem employees
